Junk of the Hearts
Yesterday was Valentinesday ... And I don't like this day ...
I mean, are lovers not lucky enough with each other anyway? Do they and the flower shops and the chocolate producers and TV and radio and the whole unjust world really have to show the poor lonely hearts that they don't have someone to be romantic with??? OK, I could ignore the whole thing or think about it as some commercial nonsense. But I find it hard as one is confronted with it all day: Newspaper articles in "metro", commercials on the walls on the way to university, couples walking around hand in hand (and in the other hand it's a rose), "kärlekskyckling" (love chicken) as the highlight lunch menu at the uni restaurant, everyone at systembolaget bought fancy red wine for their romantic dinners, a long cue at the flower shop next to the alcohol affair ... Pffffff!
I wanted to go out in the evening. I had worked almost day in day out for 3 weeks and after the presentation about blogs and wikis I deserved a nice evening. I was in the mood for drinking beer and beat up some lovers :) But none of my friends wanted to join. Well, there's this thing with Swedish people being extremely boring on weekdays ... But luckily enough I was in a good mood anyway after Sweden, Sweden requesting me to play again records again in late may (Well, who needs roses if you get a booking in Berlin???) and about good feedback from the teacher concerning the presentation. So I just decided to go out alone. To Klubb Fullträff because there is no entrance fee until 11 pm and beer costs "only" 20 sek. And it looks there like this:

I was standing alone at the bar for a while and started thinking about if I should go home after one beer and watch the Marilyn Monroe movie Jill sent to me the other day. BUT THEN 3 nice Swedish single girls came to me and just invited me to hang out with them. So I did and it became a really funny evening. Of course with a bit of nagging about stupid guys. In fact, one of the girls was dumped just this Sunday and one of the reasons (besides age difference, different views of life, etc.) was that she didn't listen to the same music as him. WHAT THE -BEEP-?!?!??
Goddamn, guys, how can you dump nice, happy and uncomplicated girls who are open to new people and have a great sense of humour just because they can't listen to the same music as you (due to no computer with internet available!!!)?!?! I don't get it. And I don't get myself because when I woke up this morning I was thinking like almost every morning about the guy who managed to break my heart and probably isn't even aware of it. Hm ...
Well, time for some WOLFGANG GEWALT now. That's probably the only lovesong that I can listen to right now :) And if you are in Vienna on the 24th of March:
